AUSTIN, Texas (www.austinaztex.com) – The Aztex dinner table just got a little fuller. This weekend, Austin’s Pizza added a special menu item to all of its locations throughout the city – the Aztex Special.

“After great fan response at the stadium this season, we are excited to introduce the ‘Aztex Special’ to our regular menu,” Austin’s Pizza CEO Rich Steinle said. “Come on out and try one at the stadium or at any Austin's Pizza location city-wide.” 

Austin’s Pizza has partnered with the Aztex for the whole 2010 season, offering pizza at all 15 Aztex games, including the newly-invented ‘Aztex Special,’ which comes with jalapeños and pepperoni.
With the new pizza option, Aztex fans can now catch dinner at Austin’s Pizza and head to Amy’s Ice Cream for Red Hot Aztex ice cream for dessert.

Aztex fans next chance to try the Aztex Special at a game is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at House Park when the first place Aztex take on the Puerto Rico Islanders in a rematch of the Aztex 2-1 victory on June 5.
