Tyrpak, a 22-year-old forward, was the centerpiece of the Aztex attack during the 2012 and 2013 PDL campaigns. Featuring and quick and elusive style of play, Tyrpak proved to be an extremely effective striker, amassing 19 goals in 27 appearances over his two years with the team. His 19 goals currently stood as the club’s all-time PDL scoring record. These efforts earned him 2013 PDL All-League Team honors, as well as the award for the 2013 USL PDL Most Valuable Player, a performance that helped the Aztex lift the PDL National Championship.
After his stellar play in Austin, the native of Dripping Springs, Texas, was drafted 40th overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by Chivas USA, taking the field on nine occasions and tallying one goal. When team folded last year, Tyrpak was selected in the 2014 MLS Dispersal Draft by the San Jose Earthquakes, where he spent time training and polishing his skillset.
Tyrpak is considered a true Austin product since he developed his talents early in his career with Lonestar Soccer Club. He played his collegiate career with the Houston Baptist University Huskies, where he scored 18 goals and provided 20 assists in a span of four seasons, receiving multiple awards and accolades.
