Travis Golden played for the Austin Aztex PDL squad in 2012 and 2014, helping the Aztex defense place themselves among the PDL elite in fewest goals allowed. Golden graduated from Bowie High School and was drafted 69th overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United after finishing his collegiate years at Campbell University.
